I Almost Died...

8:13 PM: The sun has set and I'm racing up Farmer's Lane, I can't seem to get any oxygen. My glasses fall off and I'm stumbling around trying to grab onto anything I can... I make it to a bridge and reach for the railing, hoping to steady myself, but instead miss and almost launch myself into the creek below...

...unfortunately, I'm not escaping any thugs or dark figures in the night... I've simply started attempting to get into shape.

I bought some Nike+ shoes, and hit the road for my first workout, totally assuming that I've still been playing club soccer everyday for the last 6 years.

In the first 100 yards of running it was apparent that I had not.

My first run was 4 miles long...
My second run was 3.7 with a warmup before which was considerably better...
